Seaward Passat G3 Now Available at Elliott Street Wharf

These exciting tandem kayaks are in high demand.  Call now for a demo paddle!  The centre hatch is equipped with a seat for your little one....or your 'hound'.

The Passat G3 is based on the original Passat hull, acclaimed by adventure racers (Dual first place in the Yukon River Quest). A slight increase in overall depth, an increased spread of cockpit locations and custom curved bulkheads creates a true 3-hatch (3 Cockpits with optional seat) racing and expedition tandem.

The Passat G3 has greater stability than most singles. It tracks well, with or without the rudder, edges easily and effortlessly tours at 5 knots. It is safe, strong and seaworthy even in challenging waters. It has become Seaward's best selling composite kayak.

This kayak’s "Greenland" style bow, sleek graceful lines, solid feel and expedition capacity make a combination of speed, comfort and storage that is unrivalled in a touring double/triple.   www.seawardkayaks.com for specs.

At last! Seawards new Amnik 14.5 TX has arrived.

We have been waiting with great anticipation for this exciting thermoform boat for several months.  They are now on the dock in Ladner for demo or rental (inc LPC).  This is a remarkably fun kayak that is terrific for the whole family.  Extremely stable, the Amnik 14.5 is loaded with all the 'big boat' features that make Seaward Kayaks so popular around the world.

Check out www.seawardkayaks.com for specs and details.

KAT will again offer through 2010 our "Boat Buyers" program.  When you purchase a boat through KAT which is not currently in stock we will offer the use of our rental/demo fleet from the Elliott Street Wharf until your new boat arrives.  (Note: Usage, Booking and Safety Protocol per the Ladner Paddling Club will apply.)

Seawards To Demo!

Come one, come all! We've just gotten some new Seawards, available for demos down at the docks. The boats that we have available for viewing and demos are: Chinook TX, Cosma TX, Intrigue TX, Passage Tandem TX, and Ascente (FG).

We'll also be getting some new fibreglass boats in May, so come on down and give these a try!

Welcome to our new site!

Calling all paddlers!

Kaymaran Adventure Tours is proud (and excited as all get out!) to unveil our new web site. Lots of updates and changes reflecting the way KAT has grown and evolved since we began paddling here on the lower Fraser River estuary/delta way back in 2001.

Key to the success of this project will be the ability of our Ladner Paddling Club members to post their own paddles and put the word out if they're looking for company on the water.

The retail storefront in Steveston has its own page (click the Bikes, Boats, Gear and Gizmos link under KAT Wares) which will highlight our new line of Seaward kayaks along with our top-of-the-line paddle sports accessories and gear.

Finally, I foresee this possibility of the KAT web site keeping local paddlers 'in the loop' with respect to developments such as harbour improvements and recreational access in Ladner as well as Steveston.

We hope you enjoy the new site.

Cheers all and here's to the coming weekend.  What a forecast!

Tony
